nedda315Nedda Shafir has been in the field of education for over forty years with experience as an elementary teacher, curriculum specialist, adjunct university faculty, author, district administrator and public information officer. She was formerly the Public Information Officer for the Cave Creek Unified School District in Cave Creek, Arizona and the Director of Community Services for the Washington Elementary School District in Phoenix, Arizona.  She currently serves as the Communications Consultant for the Arizona School Administrators Association, Inc. and other school districts.  She has utilized her expertise in the areas of public relations, communications, marketing, business partnerships, community engagement, media training and crisis management to help businesses, organizations, schools and districts excel.

Nedda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, is a Reading Specialist and is credentialed as a school administrator. She has done educational consulting and presentations nationwide in the areas of communications, community engagement, crisis management, public relations, leadership and reading.

Nedda has a passion for creating sustainable change and assisting organizations in developing strength-based systems of success.

Her volunteer activities include serving as a board member of the Phoenix Jewish Genetics Center, chairing the City of Phoenix Youth and Education Commission, being an active member of the Arizona School Public Relations Association, and a volunteer with Stepping Stones of Hope.
